What do you do when it’s too late?
What do you do when God has locked the doors on fate and put all his children to bed in the darkness?
You ask for help anyway.
And He gives it. Through the Great Door, you hear Him unlock what was already locked. He opens the night, breaking His own rule, not because He is breaking His character, but you are finally breaking yours. Not because of His loving attributes or attitudes, but because of your courage found only in complete shamelessness to ask anyway. He gives whatever you ask, not because out of His Goodness he answered, but because out of your desperation you asked. Not because He has, but because you don't.
Because you had “the shameless audacity” to finally ask for what you don’t have, could never have, only so that you may give.
