(Hebrews 10:19,20)
Jesus is a way to be with God. But rather than a way to be with God in spite of the flesh, he is a way to be with God through it. This indeed is the purpose and mystery of his incarnation. The Holy Ghost—Christ’s Spirit; the Great Gift returned to us—prepared for us a new Way: Our flesh—which is our body, which is our life on earth—is not a thing of separation like a veil; a thing which blocks and hides; a thing around which or under we must bring anything other than ourselves to connect to our source of being; but rather this flesh is the very thing through which we must find Him. Jesus tore it asunder. Let no man join together that which God tore asunder. Comments are closed.
